I am still alive!

Ok... so my New Years resolution is to actually keep up with my blog and my website. I wrote one blog and that was it... ha! Please tune in for more blogs in the future:)

PREGNANT.... what?

Starting about three weeks ago I started having "Crazy" dreams. I was really confused at why this was happening to me. It had never happened to me before, at least not to this degree. So I decided seek wise council. I talked to shawnah and she said "You know Rachel I had weird dreams when I was pregnant." Totally not thinking that it could be, I decided two days later to take a pregnancy test and to my disbelief it was "Positive."

I had always dreamed of being able to tell Craig is this amazing, oh so sweet way, but that did not happen. I rushed into the bedroom and in a frantic way I told him that he was going to be a dad. The reaction from him will always be in my memories. It was the sweetest, purest, and most honest expression of joy! Neither one of us were expecting this moment for a long time or maybe even never. The doctors had told me that pregnancy might not be an option for me, but apparently I showed them differently (or God did).

Ever since that day it has been a roller coaster of being happy, scared, overjoyed, and a little weepy (that could just be the hormones though). We know that this child is God's child and that He has ultimate control, and we pray that His will is done. We are so excited about this step in our lives and can't wait to see what God does!
